Searching a geeky stuff online is part of my hobby and today I’m going to share with you one of my recent discovery i.e. How to Download, Run and Use Instagram on Windows and Mac PC. So, if you’re looking for for answer to the same question, then don’t miss to check this article.
Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. And if I tell the truth, officially its impossible to get Whatsapp on Windows and Mac OS X. But unofficially you can run Instagram using the Android Emulator and Bluestack app player is one of the best to go with.
BlueStacks App Player is an amazing Android Emulator, which lets you run your favorite mobile apps fast and fullscreen in your browser and on PC or Mac. Using this you can run most popular apps and games like Temple Run 2, WhatsApp, Instagram, Candy Crush Saga and more than 750,000 apps.
And in this article I have step by step guide on how to download, run and use Instagram on Windows and Mac. So that it’s become easier for you to choose the Bluestack app player on your desired machine. So without further ado, let head over to the tutorial:
How to Download, Run & Use Instagram on Windows and Mac PC using Bluestack
2. Once Bluestack is installed on your machine look for search option which is available at top left side of screen.
3. Here in the search bar you need to search Instagram and when get it, in the search bar, click on install on the left side of the app.
4. If you’re using this for first time you will get pop asking for one time app store option i.e enable Google Play store on your machine. Once the step is complete it will ask you add your Gmail id and pass which you use on your Android phone.
5. In the next screen you will see Google play Store page for Instagram. You just need to click on Install and app will be install on your machine.
6. Now it will ask you to login your Instagram using your username and password and if you don’t have one create one. And in no second your twitter account will be in front of you like the way you see it on your Android phone. Here on this screen you can use your Instagram account like the way you want. It will look something like shown in below image:
7. The advantage of using Instagram with the help of Bluestack is that, you can also edit add effect to photo within this app just like you do it on Android phone.
Till above step I show you how to download and run Instagram for Android on Windows and Mac OS. And below I will show you how you can add Instagram effects and filters to photos which are available in your Windows and Mac OS gallery.
8. What you need to do is navigate to Home and then click on Instagram Direct icon which is available at top right side.
9. Now when you click on Instagram direct screen you will get a white screen where you can direct and drop the image from the gallery. You will three option choose the second option i.e Instagram and you’re ready to edit and add filters to photos.
10. Also, you can click one fresh image using webcam, to active camera you need to click on plus icon available at top right side of screen. Capture your pic and it will directly take you to filter screen.
11. When you done with editing and adding filters to your image, just click on ride side arrow icon visible at top right side of screen. Now name your photo and choose people to whom you want to share this image and click green yes button like show in below image:
Congratulation you have shared your first image using instagram for Android from Windows or Mac machine using Bluestack. Your image is live now.
